INFORMACIÓN TÉCNICA

zigolo  Mg12

INTRODUCTION
IMG_1192.jpg

Performance – Long Wing with Flaps (FAR 103 Compliant)

Stall speed with flaps: 44 km/h (24 kt)
Maneuvering speed (Va): 100 km/h (54 kt)
Low cruise speed: 70 km/h (37 kt)
Cruise speed: 105 km/h (55 kt)
Vne: 173 km/h (94 kt)
Fuel consumption at low cruise: approximately 5 L/h
Performance – Short Wing with Gurney Flap
Stall speed: 60 km/h (32 kt)
Maximum speed (Vh): 125 km/h (67 kt)
Cruise speed clean: 105 km/h (55 kt)
Vne with gurney flap: 140 km/h (76 kt)
Vne clean airfoil: 173 km/h (94 kt)
CG margin: 25% to 35% from leading edge
Standard cruise consumption: approximately 6L/h

Folded Dimensions

Folding time is less than two minutes, with no control disconnection or critical systems separation required. A single person can load and unload the aircraft from a trailer, and fold or unfold the wings independently.

Length: 6.3 m
Width: 1.9 m
Height: 1.6 m

Load Limits and Structural Testing

Design load: +4G / –2G at 220 kg MTOW
Safety factor: 1.5
Empty weight without parachute: 115 kg
Wing tested at 4G – no permanent deformation
Tail tested at 6G – no permanent deformation
Wing bending test at 6G – passed
Full aircraft load test at 4G Without deformation

Calculations include fatigue, elastic limits, asymmetric loads, and parachute anchor loads.
The aircraft remains in the elastic range below 4G.
A standardized maneuvering speed of 100 km/h provides a wide safety margin.

Regulatory Compliance

FAR 103
SSDR
DGAC France
FAR 103 SSDR DGAC France Spanish Regulation BOE 13/11/2025: recognition of ultralight aircraft up to 120 kg empty weight as exempt from registration

The TrueLite includes improvements over the Zigolo Mg21: increased wingspan, integrated flaps, and improved pilot comfort. It meets FAR 103 requirements and is eligible for DGAC registration. In other regions, evaluation may be required.

Kit Documentation

Full kit documentation, assembly manuals, and DGAC registration materials are being finalized. The previous model’s documentation may be used for general construction reference. The TrueLite incorporates more than ten years of development and refinement.
