P92-P96 and similar
Shock absorber
The Aviad Ultralight Shock Absorber is a remarkable innovation designed to offer simplicity, lightweight construction, low maintenance requirements, and adaptability to a wide range of aircraft. Take a look at how it seamlessly integrates with the noseleg of both the Tecnam P92 and P96 models.
By replacing the conventional rubber pad, the Aviad Shock Absorber delivers enhanced performance. Rigorous static tests have demonstrated its ability to withstand over 1000 kg without any permanent deformation. Moreover, this shock absorber can also be effectively employed on the main landing gear. Notably, it features a unique design that mitigates variations in damping caused by load reversal, ensuring consistent performance even during forceful landings.
Prioritising safety above all else, the Aviad Shock Absorber incorporates double security measures to prevent the propeller from contacting the ground or the main landing gear from damaging the wing in the event of failure. In the provided photo, you can see how the buffer effectively supports the cylinder, even in the event of a complete loss of pressure. Additionally, the geometry of the lower joint is fully adjustable, and pre-flight checks are straightforward through visual inspection. Adjustments can be made using a high-pressure pump and pressure gauge, a simple procedure that does not require electrical power and can be carried out in the middle of the airfield.
